Here you'll find easy, practical tips to help you put together effortless outfits and make the most of your wardrobe.
Find the joy in getting dressed again! ✨
👗 1. Focus on Fit (Not Size)
Ignore the number on the label, nobody sees it but you! Focus on how it sits and feels on your body
Avoid clothes that are too tight and uncomfortable or hiding behind clothes that are too baggy
Simple tailoring can completely transform an outfit
✨ 2. Define Your Waist
Enhance your shape with belts, wrap dresses, or high-waisted pieces
Even subtle waist definition helps to create a beautiful silhouette
Try tucking or half-tucking tops ( I know it can be scary but trust me it makes a difference)
🧥 3. Use Layers Strategically
Longline blazers, duster jackets and open shirts create vertical lines
Leave layers open to elongate your silhouette
Lightweight layers avoid bulk while adding contrast and depth to an outfit
🎨 4. Don’t Be Afraid of Colour & Prints
Dark colours aren’t your only option!!
Try monochrome looks (same colour head-to-toe) for an expensive, elegant look every time
The sandwich outfit method is pretty much what I use everyday. This is where you match your top to your shoes, bag or accessory and "sandwich" a contrasting colour in the middle, your trousers, skirt etc. These type of outfits always look really balanced and intentional
Choose prints and colours you love, confidence is they key!
👖 5. Invest in Great Basics
Well fitting jeans, a blazer, a white shirt, and black trousers is a classic and can go far
These pieces make building an outfit a no brainer
Quality basics elevate everything else
👠 6. Pay Attention to Proportions
Balance is everything:
Loose top → more fitted bottom
Wide-leg trousers → more structured top
Cropped or shorter jackets can define your shape really nicely
🧵 7. Choose the Right Fabric
Structured fabrics = more polished look
Flowy fabrics = soft, flattering movement
💃 8. Confidence is the Outfit
The best styling trick I can give you is how you carry yourself, when you feel confident it shows!
Wear what you love, and a big smile, not what rules say
